Most databases give you the option to limit your search results by published date. For example, in the image below (taken from EBSCO database CINAHL Complete), you can restrict your search results by published date in the "Limit your results" section of the Advanced Search interface. Enter the range "2010 - 2015" in the boxes provided, and the database will only retrieve articles published in the last five years.
